Business cards

Taking on the design that i have settled on and the new colours i decided to bring it across onto the business card ideas for the stationary.

I really want to use  a finish with the business cards, instead of just being digitally printed. I have come up with the idea of having the pattern cut through and then using foil to create a light pattern though the back. This way when the light catches it, it will create a different sort of colour. It will also give some tactility to the design.

I did do some mock ups, just so i could see what they would look like. The only problem is, my skills with the knife aren't great so i will have to have the designs cut through with the laser cutter to ensure accuracy, otherwise it'll look rubbish.
