ISTD

Taking into consideration the fact theres a lot of speech, when it came to the layout i worked out that there was 3 different styles of body copy. // DESCRIPTION // CONVERSATION // DESCRIPTION AND CONVERSATION.
Looking at this i thought it would be good to try and separate these styles in 3 distinct layout formats throughout this publication. Making certain elements more obvious than others. This gives me the chance to work around with the leading and kerning of the text, the weight etc.

// one thing in my initial ideas that i think i neglected was the fact that this needed to mimic or bring elements from a magazine.
So thinking about this in my initial ideas i have brought in certain elements from magazines to help break up the text in the three distinct ways.

By doing this format it has also left me room to play around with the pace with which a reader would read the text, this is very important to my design because i wanted to try and control the way people would read and with which speed they would read.

I have elect pages blank so that i can put extracts from the text on, which will link across the range when i make postcards that mimic the extracts.
