Having played around with the layouts, i have stared to create the layout format for the pages. Each page element representing a different part of the text being either // DESCRIPTION // CONVERSATION // DESCRIPTION AND CONVERSATION. By doing the first 5 pages, i have now got a feel for how it would all pull together. Im still working on the hiyeracry of the pages, by using opacities to highlight certain elements. You can also see that its starting to have a feel of a magazine article but still using the restrictions layout to bring the whole publication together.
One element i am particularly happy with is the extracts page, i think this works really well, it happened by accident i was just playing with the style of the extract and i really like the overload type. Its legible but only just, and as its an extract itself fit stands out so i don't necessarily need to have it full colour for it to still grab your attention. I can also use this with my range.
