In order to emphasise the brand identity i have had to create a pattern that would run across the back of the signing. I really wanted it to be a pattern that creates a different visual at different angles, so when it's close up you see the detail, and then far away the pattern will appear. So it's like a double visual.
I particular like the simple cross hatched astern, it's a pattern that in some of the picture that i have seen around the crown, and its simple pattern can go across the backgrounds without affecting the text or the logo going across it. Also i want to use engraving, into wood etc and i think this would work particularly strongly.
