I have taken on the first deliverable, the keycard that someone would need to access their room. I have taken on the similar process as before, bringing in the elements that i had used with the previous fire signs. However this time i have photoshopped the the design onto wood, i have chosen i thin red oak sample, this is because i can be shaved down and varnished to create a resistible wood that can be used.
You can also used the media to to put magnetic strip on which would actually needed to be put onto the wood and use in the door. I really like the texture, it looks really strong and visually its quite different. This also reduces ink used and printing, as all of these would be engraved onto the specific media.
