Flyer designs

I have played around with different layout and styles for the flyer. We both decided that we wanted to laser cut the flyer into malleable wood, this way it brings in the two sides of the processing software, the digital programming side and the hands on tactile side. I think this will look really effective.
This also means i can now bring my skills learnt with the laser cutter into play which is good..
I decided that by separating the different cuts it would help define the different information and pattern. Giving more of a depth and texture to the wood but also stoping it being so confusing.

// FINAL FLYER DESIGNS

The pattern will be kiss cut so hopefully the type will settle over the top engraved
so that it stands out clearly, the only problem may be that it looks too congested.
But i can only see that once laser cut.

Really like the separating of design and type, added the title on the reverse side
so that it brings the whole thing together more. Like the pattern and the cleaner
layout makes the type a lot easier to read and stands out more.

New edited layout, all squared off and a bit more simple, making it
more legible. All the main information will stand out more clearly and won't
look as confusing.

Double sided idea, keeping info and pattern separate making it have
more a function and looking less hectic.

The pattern will be kiss cut and type engraved so it will stand out
more clearly, at the moment its hard to picture that. Might be a little chaotic.

Separating the info and the pattern but combining on one
side, so looks chaotic but in a controlled way.

Combining my type and layout with Ailsa's pattern to
see how it would work. i think the triangles are a little too small
and looks a little too chaotic.
