Certificate

For the certificate for the D&AD event, i wanted to use something different o create it, so that is has more a unique feel to it then just digitally printed. I'd heard about drawing with a pen on the vinyl cutter downstairs, and i thought that this could be a really good idea. Instead of having it printed digitally, i would have the circle element of the design printed with the pen.
I wanted to use this because it has a very subtle difference between the printed media, and the penned media. The pen creating a slightly indent and a slightly greasy quality to the look of the design. it catches the light differently, and when inspected you can see the strokes made by the pen.
this was a really fun experience for me, because its yet another process that has opened up to me that i could use in the future.
